Chapter 264
When Frank has finished spilling the contents of his stomach in the porcelain bowel, the two made their way back into the living room and sat of the sofa to watch TV. Frank pulled his legs up underneath him and curled up against Gerard, who put his arm around the smaller man and pulled him close. A few minutes later Gerard felt a buzzing against his leg, without trying to move to much and reached into his pocket and pulled out his cell phone, looking at the screen.
One new message from Mikey
Gerard opened the message and read the message on the small screen.
Hey Gee, we’ll be over in an hour like I said, and I was just wandering, shall I bring the whole group over and we can watch a movie or do band stuff or something. Mikey
Gerard exited the message and turned to Frank.
"Hey Mikey is wandering if it’s okay to bring the whole group over?" asked Gerard looking at the smaller man curled up against him. "You feeling up to that?"
Frank nodded against Gerards chest. "Yeah"
Gerard nodded and opened up a new message.
Hey Mikey, yeah bring the whole group over. See you in an hour. Gee,
Gerard sent the message and closed the phone, chucking it on the table.
The next hour the two stayed in their position on the sofa watching mindless TV and never staying on the same channel for more than 10 minutes. Right now, they had settled on watching a music channel and were watching the people dance around on the screen when they heard a knock on the door.
"That’s probably them" said Gerard slowly retracting his arm from around Frank and getting up. Gerard walked out of the room and to the front door and opened it, and like predicted there was the group standing there and there was Jaidon in Hannah’s arms.
"Hey guys" said Gerard smiling but glaring a little when he saw the twins, who also looked as if they didn’t want to be there. Gerard could tell someone had forced them to come – probably Amy.
Gerard let the group into the house closing the door behind them, and led them into the living room where Frank was still curled up on the couch watching the same music channel but with a different person dancing across the screen.
Frank looked up as he heard people enter the room. "Hey guys" he smiled
"Hey" replied the group as they sat round in various seats and spots on the floor, whilst Hannah walked over to Frank and handed the infant over to Frank, before walking back over and sitting with Mikey who was holding their daughter.
"Hey you, did you miss me?" said Frank as he cuddled his son and kissed the top of his head.
Gerard sat back down next to Frank and put his arm around him and stroked the top of Jaidons head with a warm fatherly smile.
"What we doing today then?" asked Ray leaning against a wall.
"How about a movie then we can have band practice?" suggested Gerard looking around the group for their responses.
The group nodded and Gerard got up to get out a movie.
"I’ll get some snacks!" said Frank smiling handing Jaidon to Hannah and got up.
"Frank did you shrink your top in the wash again?" asked Tom looking up at the other male.
"No why?" replied Frank stopping and turning to Frank.
"Looks a little tight on you" said Tom shrugging.
Tom’s expression fell and he spun around to face Gerard.
"I told you I had put on weight!" shouted Frank before he turned and stormed out the room with a frown on his face.
Gerard sighed and put the movie he had chosen back down.
"Nice going Tom" said Gerard glaring at the dreadlocked male and walking out after Frank. Tom shrugged and began playing on his phone.
"I was only saying the truth" Tom said matter-of-factly.
Gerard searched the house for his fiancée and found him sitting on the upstairs bathroom floor leaning against the shower, curled up in a ball and his face buried in his knees and Gerard could hear him sobbing. Gerard felt his heart break as he sat on the floor next to the smaller man and wrap his arms around him.
"Ignore Tom, he’s being a dick" whispered Gerard kissing the top of Franks head gently. "It’s an old shirt, maybe it’s just got too small for you?"
Frank sniffed and lifted his head. Gerard saw the bloodshot eyes and puffy cheeks that were on Franks face and wiped away the tears gently with his thumb. "You’re beautiful okay? Don’t listen to Tom. Just come back downstairs and we will watch a movie? You can change so you feel more comfortable if you want?"
Frank nodded and allowed himself to be helped up and led into the bedroom.
