Just everything is falling apart. I see concern in everyone's eyes when they talk to me. I have no motivation to do anything productive. I'm having to to tell professors this term (I did not have to last term) that I have PTSD and often fall into flashback mode. The last thing I wuold want would them to call on me for thinking I was daydreaming...!

Lyssie, you don't have to let it take over I know it's hard but you can do this.
rustedchains, I know at my school you can get a form from disability services if you have psychiatric problems that interfere with your academic performance, and I bet you could do something like that for your PTSD if your profs give you a tough time of it. Good luck
*cuddles my baby lots and lots*

I am already a disability service student due to physical disabilities and learning disabilities. I do go to a Christian college, so the profs are more understanding. I've only spoken to one so far, but I'm hoping the other takes it well. I just hope they don't ask me about my family. One did last term, but that was before major things changed. I do have a speech prepared for if I'm ever asked to talk about my family in class:
"When I was little, my parents sold me to the circus. Due to this, I am now terrified of clowns. Because of my intense fear, one day they sent me back to my parents. However, a crew of pirates kidnapped them. I then went to live with a clan of ninjas. One sentence in this story is actually true. You decide which."

So today after church the pastor asked me how I was doing.
I wasn't about to lie in church and say I was doing wonderful, but I said I was okay. "Oh, so not great but not horrible?" "Well, more toward the horrible side.."
Everyone who doesn't know the full story thinks I'm stressed out because of classes. And I will seriously have to resist the urge to clobber the next person who comments on my "easy" class schedule. The only reason I have such a light load is because of all the emotional turmoil I'm in.
