I saw Vampire Weekend on Monday. Easily the best live band I've ever seen, strangest atmosphere ever. A Punk just set the crowed a light everyone was dancing, one of the best experiences like ever :)
just because you've forgotten doesn't mean you're forgiven
my upcoming gigs are
- frank turner- london scala i think
FFAF- london forum
Death cab- alexandra palace
dashboard confessional
and then metallica next march hopefully, getting the tickets 2moro
me & lucy are going to alexandra palace tooooo :).
i am so excited. she is probably more excited though.
those dancing days are performing at my uni in a couple weeks so i will probably go see them & i am seeing frightened rabbit (who are also supporting death cab) in december, yum. i haven't been to a gig in agess.
I saw Feeder on Tuesday. It was amazing <3
I am seeing Flogging Molly + Skindred afterall so that's soon, can't wait!
Hopefully going to see the Taste of Chaos tour next week up north. Will be brilliant if I can get a ticket!
There's some great gigs happening next year - but the tickets are on sale now and I have no money! I'll be so sad if they sell out :(
First gig: Budgie
Worst gig: Probably The Fall of Troy in Birmingham. Just for the fact that the support was SHOCKINGLY bad!
Best gig: Any of the 16 times I've seen the Levellers
Last gig: You Me At Six
Upcoming gigs: The Chase (tomorrow), Seth Lakeman (Saturday) then Levellers twice in December, can't remember the dates off the top of my head.
First gig: Either Pulp or The Prodigy (omg, best first band EVER) in 1996, when I was six or seven years old, at T In The Park. Worst gig: Quite honestly can't think of my worst gig. Best gig: The Killers, 2007 Glastonbury Festival. Such an incredible performance. And Kasabian, 2008, Glastonbury Festival. That was amazing. Especially "The Drugs Don't Work" <3 Last gig: Kasabian, I believe. upcoming gigs: I might be going to see a band I've never heard of, who rock, according to my mate Jo, in Glasgow in a few weeks. Random!
I go to gigs pretty regularly, recently I went to the taste of chaos tour (As I Lay Dying ftw), went to see bring me the horizon last week which was very fun and allowed to release a lot of frustration by moshing hehe. Next week I'm going to see funeral for a friend and I also have death cab for cutie, opeth, new found glory and bury your dead booked :D
"How can I stand here
how can I stand here before you
Take what I have, take these broken remains"
^ I am so jealous of you right now. Turns out I can't go to the Taste of Chaos tour :'( I so wanted to see As I Lay Dying and MUCC. I also really want to see Opeth.
I really wanted to go to that gig. I remember being sat at home gutted cos I had no money for it. I bet it was amazing.
guiltyinnocence, that's rubbish! are they rescheduling?
Silly Opeth are playing near me on the same day as Damnation festival so I not going. But i saw them earlier in the year at Wacken so not complaining (too much)
Let me be the one you call
If you jump i'll break your fall
Lift you up and fly away with you into the night
If you need to fall apart
I can mend a broken heart
If you need to crash then crash and burn YOU'RE NOT ALONE
i wanted to go to biffy but couldnt get tickets :(
im going to see mindless self indulgence with incase of fire and a few others at norwich waterfront next year, its some kerrang thing i think

Was talking to a lass the other day who has been to 99 Biffy Clyro gigs in 7 years.
