What do you think flying would achieve? I will reiterate that it really isn't possible for you to fly though, your body is human and human bodies can't fly without being in a plane or something.

It's just thoughts in my head. Flying seems fun. But I can't get out of here to fly and if I keep hold of these thoughts I'll be here longer.

Yeah flying does seem fun but as I said you can't do it as a human without a plane or something. I know it's hard when something has been a repetitive thought in your head for a long time to let go of it. It's ok to think as long as you can manage to not act on it.

I had a chat with my named nurse and she assured me that I'm not failing to still have these thoughts even though the voices have gone and I'm doing really well. She was so nice, when she asked me for any tools I gave my emergency one to her.

Well done, I'm glad you did that and that you have a good relationship with your named nurse.

I asked my named nurse, if things go well, can I use my razor in the shower next week. She said she would ask in the MDT meeting :)

Do you feel ok to use a razor safely?

If they said you could use it but you felt unsafe on the day would you let them know?

Please do. It will help you to feel more confident and the staff feel better about how you're doing and hopefully be a step closer to being able to go home safely.

My clozapine levels are 'in range' so I think this means they can look at adjusting it.

What do you think of that as a plan? When do you next speak to the psych?

I'm not going to have thoughts about it until it's confirmed. My ward rounds is on Thursday.

I had ward rounds. The psych said my clozapine levels were actually quite high so there wasn't wiggle room. Instead he's going to swap my aripiprazole for haloperidol. He's confident it will help because it works in a different way.

I hope it does help and you can notice the change and feel better. I'm glad something is being tried rather than nothing. Are you ok with that decision?

It's good to be able to try new things I think. I hope it's a good fit for you. Do you know what the plan is with when you'll start reducing and coming off your aripiprazole to start on haloperidol or is it possible to do both at the same time?

I had a dose of aripiprazole this morning so I'll have my first dose of haloperidol tomorrow night.
