Please don’t hug me, I don’t like hugs unless its a function of the thread. I’m not meaning this at anyone in particular, just letting everyone know because there are new people posting.

same as what ali said! probably a bit of unspoken rule but in most neurodivergent circles, it's not a good idea to imply the idea of physical touch to all, as many of us find touch upsetting and triggering.
something like *hugs* to anyone who want them might be better?
Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.
You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.
Good to know, thank you for pointing it out. I'll try to remember to be considerate of that (I remember yours, Camden, as I've seen it in your signature!). I'll do my best but I've got actual memory issues which can make things a bit of a struggle. Makes sense to avoid it particularly here though! :)
*waves to everyone*
And lol, yup, club of misdiagnosed RYLers sounds about right. Impossible to shift the incorrect label years on but anyway...
Has anyone got any good strategies for concentrating on stuff in the last few days of the week? Exhausted but I still have to concentrate at work and stuff, keep just wanting to sleep. I took nearly a year off because of various things and have just started back, this is only my second week.
Umm, just pacing yourself really and taking breaks if needed? I'm not too sure, sorry to not be any use haha. Maybe you can say you'll work for X amount of time and then do Y which could be have a snack or drink or do something enjoyable even if quick?
I think its to do with my meds being screwed up. I went to the GP last month to increase them, she did increase them but didn’t put them on repeat so there was a huge rigmarole trying to get my new dose on repeat. They have processed the order, but my pharmacy hasn’t texted me to lpick them up yet. I only have 1 left so if they’re not ready tomorrow I’m a bit screwed.
I do try and take breaks at work, or what my colleagues and I call ‘hiding in the toilets’ haha. I’m supposed to be on the floor all the time but I can go to the loo or like make cups of tea etc as long as I don’t drink them anywhere near the children. I made myself a cup of tea just after I posted and spending some time with V and our cats tonight did help.
If they've not texted you by midday I'd just go to the pharmacy, personally. They should be able to help you, and a combination of that and potentially speaking to the GP on the phone or something if needed should mean that you're not left without over the weekend. Sometimes a few days can be dispensed as an emergency as well, if required. So try not to worry quite yet and hopefully they'll just message you to collect tomorrow and all will be well.
Yeah taking the breaks to regulate sensory wise can be a good shout when it's possible. Do you have reasonable adjustments at work to accommodate things like that..? Spending the evenings doing nice things and decompressing in a non-overwhelming environment is a good plan and is bound to help.
