awww, she's the same age as chloe (10months today), how many teeth does she have?
chloe does a lot better when we use the ashton and parsons powders and she prefers a big chunky carrot cut in half and frozen, wrapped in a flannel to keep her hands warm.
have you seen your doctor or anyone (health visitor) to discuss the depression? please get some support for it.

go back to your dr, it could be that the meds you are on are not suiting you, there are many more you can try, plus counselling (talking) therapies.
do you go to any baby clubs/classes? baby/toddler swimming sessions are good, as are baby music classes, baby art/mess classes, and toddler groups, playdates etc.
chloe has trouble with one of her top teeth. the first one to show, took 4 attempts to come through, the gum kept healing back over and in the end the other top tooth came through before the troublesome one did.
what does your baby eat? you could try giving rusks as biscuits as they are good to gnaw on, also bits of really cold cucumber, peppers... anything they like the taste of that is hard and cold really!
are you giving calpol or any other pain-relief medicine? also she is old enough for 'adult' bonjela - the aniseed one (as opposed to the banana flavour teething gel) or the dentinox teething gel, both are stronger than calgel and bonjela teething gel.
also try coldd water frozen into either ice cubes or even better ice lolly moulds for her to suck and chew on.
lots of love, mand x

i would also go back to the docs. im just about to start my 3rd set of medication for PND as the fluoxetine and mirtazapine didnt suit me - the fluoxetine didnt work and i had severe side effects with the mirtazapine.
how long have you been on them? sometimes in the beginning when your body is becoming used to the drug you can feel increased feelings of wanting to SH etc and apparently this does settle down - IF the drug is right for you. if its been a few weeks and you still feel that way then id suggest you try something else.
i love the dentinox teething gel its brilliant. i am also having the same problems with my 9 month old, she has her bottom two and is teething at the moment. i have had to give her calpol at night a couple of times, as well as using the teething gel. i also swear by ashton and parsons powders as they are very good!!!

we give chloe the full daily maximum sometimes, she tends to get a fever with the teething, and is also ill with it, colds, coughing, fever etc so the dr said, if she needs it - give it to her. the time of year doesn't help either does it?

Everyone's given good tips Lexi, for us, Ashton & Parsons were great, along with Nurofen, that helped heaps. With your PND, can you speak to your Health Visitor or GP again? They're meant to help.

My heart just needs his smile, that i can't forget, like so melancholy a kiss.
i was at dr's yesterday and theyve change my meds from prozac to citalopram, only problem is i cant swallow pills and the prozac was liquid form. i am wondering if disolving them would have the same effect?
emma seems to be calming down and has shifted her cold onto me, which im not so bothered about, although for the last two days ive not seen her as ive been working, but all seems well so far.... ~huggles~
