I can't reach it and it's right in the corner of the wall by the ceiling >.<
We always get huge ones in the living room in exactly the same place everytime
aha thats a great idea =D
It was really low down last night, in a corner though so I couldn't get it, so I tried to get my cat to eat it and she growled and ran off =/
I killed my friends pet tarrantula by accident... well i meant to kill it! but i didn't realise it was hers... it was on her desk and I freaked, grabbed her binder and dropped it on top of it... she was very upset...
"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
I've also been bit by a black widow around six years ago. Worst thing ever. Itched so bad.
I also went to bed once, room pretty dark, covers pulled up to my chin, only to see this giant white spider swing down on a thread from my ceiling and FELT IT LAND ON MY CHEST. Freaked me out.
I'm okay with spiders as long as they're not crawling on me (or hiding under my toilet seat).
Aww I love spiders! I might get a Chile Rose Tarantula sometime soon :)
That's the kind of tarantula I had. It was so cute and fuzzy but it didn't like me. Loved my dad. Loved my dad's girlfriend. Hated me. Every time I'd go to change its water or add crickets to its home it would get into fighting/defense stance and release those ****ing hairs that would cause my hands to itch like mad and break out in miniature blisters that would last days. :(
Harley had a Chilean Rose tarantula a while ago. It pushed open the lid of its aquarium and escaped. Luckily I found it before the dog did as they can give a nasty bite.
In Oman we used to get camel spiders in the desert. If one came upon you asleep it would inject an anaesthetic and eat, say, part of your ear off. We used to watch out for them very carefully in the same way that we used to check our boots for scorpions before putting them on.
My tarantula actually learned how to remove the rubber tubing that held the screen on the top of its terrarium so it would escape on its own. It was able to climb the corner of its tank after much practice. :\

thats just.. nasty.. ergh.. eww *checks room for spiders*
why the heck do so many people have trantulas?!?!
There will always be a happy ending. If its not happy then its not yet the end.
I've had girls do the whole "Ahh, Richard, get rid of the spider" thing, and I've joined the on the stool and said "NO! YOU ****ing get rid of it!".
amazing mental images lol.
I dont mind spiders. as long as theyre not running at me, or absolutely huge, then im ok with them. used to have two friends who were petrified of them.. and i was on spider smashing duty all the time. i hated it but then, im petrified of wasps. so...all you spider fearers...il smash your 8 legged freaks for you if you smash the stingy buggars for me? deal?.

nice offer.. but im also scared of wasps!
but ill trap them and throw them out of the window, because its safer doing that then having them in a room with you!!

i cant go near them enough to trap them. honestly, one flew into the car when we were driving yesterday and i almost opened the door to jump out. i would have, except it flew back out again. im terrified of them. so badly lol.
OMG just the idea of that terrifies me
And I most definately would not want a tarantula
It wasn't that bad. I mean, it itched, but it bit me in a fattier area of my body (the back of my thigh, it was hiding under my toilet seat) so it didn't do anything except itch and create a huge, uncomfortable area for almost two months.

We'd find my cats hissing at mine. It would make it into hallways and other rooms and would be attempting to fight my kitties.
