Overdose/ Self-Poisoning Question - Effects of an OD?

Hmm.. a couple years ago now I took a whole load of an NSAID. After I took them I was ill in bed for a few days (wobbly, throwing up, ears ringing) and then that was more or less it (except fow a few months after that I felt nauseous when I thought about swallowing any pill, and I threw up if I took aspirin). I've also taken smaller ODs on the same a couple of times since.
Probably over the past year or two I've been getting relatively frequent stomach aches - maybe once every one or two months. Which I think is more than normal, though I'm not sure. They're quite painful, and I think usually around the top part of my tummy. Sometimes I'll throw up, sometimes I won't. It'll just last like a day or two, or if I get it in the evening might even be gone when I wake up (assuming I get to sleep!). It probably sounds like the two things are definately related, but I'm not really sure, and I was wondering if it's something I should worry about, or if I just get stomach aches.
I'm not a big fan of going to the doctors, by the way. I'm just not convinced that I need to.
I tried to describe everything about it I could think of whilst sticking to posting rules (I hope I did!). Advice would be appreciated.

NSAID are expcially unkind to the stomach and intestines. They cause a lot of irritation. Which is why it is recomended that they are taken with food. It is possible thatyou may have done some damage to the lining of your stomach.

However stomach pain can be related to a lot of differnt things icluding some medication and even related to what foods you eat. Maybe try keeping a list of the things you ate before it started and see if there are any realted things.

However, if you are concerend a doctors appoitment is always best. They can examie you easier and in doing so offer you a better diagnoisis.

Thanks, I'll try keeping better track of what I've eaten - I have thought about it, but I think actually keeping a list would probably be more effective!
It does concern me a bit sometimes, but...hmm.. is there any magic way I could know if it's likely to be serious or not? :p

There is no magic way of knowing, you have to see your GP call NHS direct. There is no member that is able to say as it goes against the rules of RYL in the form of tip shareing, also

Please note that no information will be given about lethal amounts or dosages of any type of medication. Nor will there be any information provided about what harm doing "xxxxx" will do to you.

Now we all have a great need for acceptance, but you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go.

pathetic

One effect i know of and i'm not saying that i've had it, is that when you go to take any pill not matter how long it was since you overdosed, it tastes like od.
