Erm it should be safe so long as she avoids any deep fresh wounds.. if she sees then she will probably decide in the best course of action. possibly taking blood from elsewhere. maybe you could ask for that?

nurses are very skilled at taking blood and they can take it from the tiniest patch of skin. I've had it taken from the back of my hand and even my foot before!
If you think one of your cuts is infected it is probably a good idea to see a doc about that and then they can sort out more blood tests for you/ you can discuss your concerns about your arms and them taking blood if you feel comfortable.
Clean the cut up as best as you can with lukewarm water. Then cover it in anti-septoc cream and put a dressig over the top to try andn help with any infection which may be there. Have you got heat/swelling/ pain/ reduced healing/ pussy discharge?
Also, why were you unconscious if you don't mind me asking? Do you just mean you were asleep because if it was due to something else you really need to get a doctor to check you out ASAP especially as it sounds like you were out for a while so go to A&E or something.
I OD'd on the weekend with alcohol, and today i have an AMAZINGLY bad stomach ache and diaorrhea. And my kidneys hurt. And i have been starving myself and going to start the laxative taking tonight.I have a dr's appointment on Friday so will get the cut checked then. I was unconscious because of the OD i think. Again. It's been happening a lot since i OD'd. But i'm sure it's not important.

Anyway, my cut is kind of sticky; it has swollon up. it's burning. the skin AROUND the cut keeps getting redder with a yellow tinge. Part of me wants to look after it, but the bigger part of me wants it to be as bad and as painful as possible. The scab is blacky-yellow.
I have kept it from getting wet since i did it on saturday night, as i want it to be bad. Surely it can wait until my drs appointment?
I don't want to frighten you, but I don't think it can wait - it sounds infected, and an infected cut can lead to horrible complications. can't you go to A&E or a local walk-in centre and get it looked at? I hope you feel better *hugs tight*

You need to go to A&E now. It sounds like you have a lot of different things going on, and since you missed the blood tests this morning and you are having all these problems you need to get checked out now rather than Friday.
