I sent a pm TWO WEEKS AGO asking about switching info from v2 cuz when i tried getting my link , i kept getting "could not be found" and never got an answer, and my join date never got fixed, and now youre gonna tell me i missed some ****ing deadline just cuz i dont come on here every 24 hours??
I've stuck with this site since it was Ruin, on ezboard... and I even took advantage of the supporter thing to give something back.. and now im basically being told to f off??
what the hell kinda crap is that?
or has this place gotten so big that we're all just insignificant drops in a damn ocean?
and what next, gonna list LJ as a site that we arent allowed to join cuz bad things about here are mentioned?

I want my join date back, and i know my count was AT LEAST 1500 .. 2k if you count the ezboard stuff...
Everyone was asked easily in time to provide us with a link, we had hundreds and hundreds to do. Each one had to be done manually, and let me tell you it was not fun for either James or I.
You sent a PM 15 days ago telling us you didn't know how to get the link, despite instructions of how to splashed all over both sites. All we asked is that in return for the effort we put in to update your details by hand, members take the time to work out how to find their profile in v2, something they visited hundreds of times as a member.
I will now go manually look up your username in the database, and waste my time doing what everyone else managed to do just fine to update your obviously ever so precious post count :S
Hi there i know that you have been waiting two weeks for a reply to your PMs but Harley is very busy and is trying to get through the emails and PMs as soon as he can but remeber that he and the other mods have a life outside of RYL and jobs so they cant be on 24/7 sadly. Harley has a huge back log of things that he has to do and there are alot of memebers that will be in the process of getting post counts transfered and so on just like you, recently harley had over 2000 PMs to respond to and had done 100 in a day but he cant do that every day it is also worth PM James as i think that it is him that is sorting out post counts and join dates now.
Now we all have a great need for acceptance, but you must trust that your beliefs are unique, your own, even though others may think them odd or unpopular, even though the herd may go.
It was not done because in your message 15 days ago - which you clearly sent because it was easier than working out what do to you told me the username was the same as this site.
There is no badbadkitty13 in the v2 database, and the closest is badkitty, which has 0 posts.
I had assumed therefore that it was not worth updating.
I do notice that the badkitty account, while having no posts was created in 2004. Do you want me to update you according to those details? Or is there another account?
I have more then 1200 sent PM's since v3 launch. I made every effort I could to respond to everyone, except in those cases where I felt it was not nessesary, as in yours. When your inbox is showing over 400 new messages and they are coming in faster than you can deal with them, and it's 5 in the morning - you can see how I would be trying to cut as many corners as possible.
Please give me the actual account name and I will do what I can
Maybe im just too retarded then, cuz I clicked like 4 links that were supposedly to v2, and all I got was the firefox thing where it says server cannot be found and has the tyr again button, which i also clicked
and the last call, 24 hour notice .. its like Gaurdian angel said "remeber that he and the other mods have a life outside of RYL and jobs so they cant be on 24/7" .. well neither can I, hence missing the pm with a link in it which may or may not have worked for me.
I dunno if you remember or not, Harley, but I barely got v2 to work for me before ruin was shut down , so maybe my computer is just crap or something..
the post count isnt what matters, its more the TIME, if i keep seeing that ive only joined this year, then its like... all that happened before is just gone...
and believe me, if i could have gotten onto v2, i would have. there were some important (to me) pms on there i would have copied to notepad or something to save.

Why don't you just stop over-reacting, calm yourself down, and PM Harley with the approximate date you joined [since you said the actual post count doesn't matter as much]? And, if you are still desperate to have an updated post count, give him an estimate. It's not like a competition or something, where you'll be penalized for slightly incorrect information. I'm sorry that the change has upset you, but I assure you that there are hundreds more people with similar feelings. This will just take some adaptation as a community.
Thank you, Harley - for all of the hard work, dedication, sleepless nights, and patience you have put into making RYL work. It may not satisfy everybody, but I certainly would think that you deserve gratitude for how much you've done.
It's things like this that promote an "anti-RYL" attitude... just because one is overlooked doesn't mean they're insignificant.
And that is all I have to say regarding this matter.

I think that you owe Harley and appology, I know you were upset hun, but you have to remember that RYL is HUGE, and just because one person slip's through the cracks doesn't mean they arn't cared about, it just means that Harley is well.....human. (Some would say super human with all the stuff he does for us :-P). Dear, I am not trying to patronize you, but this post was a bit angering to many people when you come across so cold hearted to the things that Harley HAS done for you, and everyone around here. Just remember, RYL is here to help thousands of people. If you have an issue like this, then maybe next time, try to PM a mod, and let them know you are frustrated and would just like to get this settled. Posting something like this in a public board is probably not the best course of action to take to get something.
So, it seemed a bit above that you said something that may have indicated that you are just generally going through a rough time at the moment, would you like to talk about that? If you need to talk, then please feel free to PM me, trust me darling, I am more then wiling to listen to anything you want to rant and vent about.
