im going swimming this morning yay!! i've missed it so much!! (used to swim for my county for bout 10yrs) havent been for about 1-2yrs cos of scars... going with my friend who's seen some of my scars but no all so hopefully she wont freak (she's one of the ones that reg upsets me-not on purpose-with her comments cos she doesnt realise the impact of them)
but im so excited cos hopefuly if i can do this i can not care so much about what people in dry land think.

will let you know how i go.... if i back crying later you'll know it didnt go too well :) xx

Try not to worry about it too much, I swim 5 out of 7 days a week with my club and have done since before I started hurting myself. If people have noticed my scars [which I'd be surprised if they hadn't!] no one has ever said anything to me about them so I'm sure you won't have any problems! If you do just try to ignore them, as long as you have a good time that's the main thing!

That sounds like a good idea! I used to swim, I love water-but everytime I thought about taking a dive I'd end up relapsing.
But now I'm all 4.1 months maybe I should do it too!

thanks guys, i had lots of fun, noone said anything and to be honest i didnt overly remember i had any scars. water is great cos when your in noone can see scars.... i recomend it, feel very healthy now :D xx
