Triggering (SI) - my family found out about the last two weeks

Hi, over the last two weeks I`ve had to go to aand e to get stitched and have been drunk when it happenened, the last time I lost my phone which was in my mums name so I had to tell her I`d lost my phone. Today the taxi driver who bought me home has phoned my mum and told her that he picked me up from a and e, now she is calling me a lier and telling me that she can`t trust a word I say and I`ve got to stop SIing problem is at the moment I want to do it pretty much constantly and also that part of me doesn`t want to stop which is really shamefull. Also my dad`s dying of cancer and this is just making him worse I feel like the most **** evil person in the world.

ah hun, sounds like you having a hard time *hugs*
its hard for anyone to understand and your mum is probably very concerned for you but telling you you HAVE to stop isnt going to help cos its not that easy!
im really struggling with whether i wanna stop too so know how you feel, its a way of coping-perhaps not the best/ideal way but its not shameful. just look how many thousand people are on this site. there is just a huge stigma about it.

*massive hugs* sorry to hear about your dad, is he getting help? your not an evil person, far from it, its not shameful that you dont want to stop, it seems like your going through a stressful time, do you have anyone you can talk to about whats going on? pm me anytime hun x

I have a counsellour but it feels like it`s not working at the moment and she`s on holiday for two weeks
