Ipod/Itunes help please

I am completely dumb when it comes to ipods and itunes. They bug, oh well.
I have filled mine and I want to take everything off it an start again. Only problem is that my music comes from about 4 different computers.

What I need to know is, is it possible to take all my music from my ipod and store it on my computer, preferably in my itunes library. (I assume it is possible as that would be common sense) And if so how to do it.

Anyone any ideas who can help me out pretty please.

The way iTunes is made is to not allow you to upload music from your iPod, but you can do some funky stuff and work around it.

Are you on a PC or a Mac?

stupid Itunes.
I have just copied them al across into a folder, going to see if that works.

I hope that works for you, but if it doesn't, here's my suggestion:
If you attach your iPod to your computer where you want to store your music, don't open iTunes or let it sync your iPod-- this would be bad.
Then, enable yourself to see 'hidden folders':
Control Panel >> Folder Options >> "View" tab >> Show hidden files and folders.
Now when you open up your iPod through My COmputer >> "Your iPod", there's a folder called iPod Control >> Music
Inside that folder, all the z00 - z... folders have your music. You can grab them and drag them to a folder on your desktop or wherever, and iTunes should take them from there.

...and if that doesn't work there are still other methods!
