What puzzles me about the Rose thing is how she manages to go from her parallel world to 'our' world. If she can do that, why not move back, etc.
Perhaps I'm forgetting details about the whole parallel world thing (it was a while ago), but I thought she was trapped within the parallel world.
Also, how would she run into Martha? Hm.
We'll have to wait and see for conclusive answers, I guess. They sure know how to make an audience watch a series, by putting something like that in at the beginning!
