A little knowledge behind every i dont know.
And a little emotion behind every i dont care.

I'm sure you'll be ok
It's just standard procedure. It's very unlikely that you'll be admitted
Just be honest with them, I think the only way they would possibly consider putting you in hospital is if you actually tell them that you are planning on commiting suicide.
If you tell them that your planning doing it again then they might keep you there, but if not then they probably won't.
It's more just a legal requirment on there behalf,
if you say that your going to try to kill yourself then they are required by law to do somthing about it.
But just don't worry about it, if you actually *are* planning on harming yourself again then it's best to tell the truth, so they know how to help you.
Good Luck, it shouldn't take too long and every time I do an assesment it's quite quick and straightforward.

Good luck, thinking of you.im only just learning to be honest with both myself and the CMHT but it is for the best.....i think.Sorry i delivered a letter to them this morning and am awaiting the response to it and anxious and dont want the police here [have been sent them before].But no that aside honesty really is best and i hope it goes well for you.i really do.i know how important these things can be.PM me anytime if you need to.
well apparently am not helping my self by taking overdoses, i dont actually see or hear things its a psycological thing coz i was abused as a kid, my inappropriate thoughts to ard children are also due to that. I am not depressed or even having psychosis its all in my head! so the fact people tell me to die and to si im pretending, and the fact i see ants crawling on walls and on my body is also pretending.
It's true that overdoses aren't healthy. At all.
From what you say, it's my understanding that you have intrusive thoughts and flashback type episodes because of childhood abuse - rather than an organic type of illness causing psychosis.
It is true it's in your head, but that doesn't make it any less painful or having its own reality - and it formed as a defence and response to unbearable pain, the pain of being abused.
I'm not so sure what they mean by 'pretending'. Nor am I quite sure why they've said you're not depressed. Hallucinations and voices like you describe can easily result from the stress of feeling violated and the attack on your self esteem that comes as a result of being abused.
Have they offered you any form of treatment?
If its psychological then surely therapy would help?
Just because its not psychosis it doesn't make it any less painful or frightening, it just means that its classified differently. I'm sorry they said you were pretending that doesn't seem like a very helpful thing to say.
"Because you don't notice the light without a bit of shadow. Everything has both dark and light. You have to play with it until you get it exactly right."
Well good luck with that, hopefully you'll get an appointment quickly. If its psychological, therapy will be the best treatment and hopefully they'll be more understanding at this place.
Take care xx
