Lol i get that too! One day they knocked while I was in the bathroom so I just yelled at him to leave it at the door and he said he couldn't 'cause I had to sign so i yelled that I was on the toilet and to put my initials cause I was gonna be awhile... he left the parcel. Soooooooooooooo funny!!!!! I don't know what I would have done if he'd waited though :P

"I ran out in my dressing gown and told him off for not ringing the bell." In your dressing gown.... *giggles* what did he say?!

Our parcel person is scared of dogs (why have that job then) and she made my sister go all the way out to the letter box in her dressing gown to get a parcel.

That REALLY pisses me off.

On the other hand, they'll leave my Zen Micro out on my brother's doorstep for all to see. But that was Amazon. And we might have told them that it got stolen so we could get another one for free.

But shh.

I like the couriers I get. They leave my parcels in the shed for me. There’s never anyone home, but I've never had a problem with any of them :)

ha, my postman does that, although he puts it in the shed or outside the back door.
i don't mind it tbh, it's better then having to go to the post office to collect it. and it's only because my postman lives in my street and knows it's pretty safe to leave it where he does. If we have someone else, then i have to go collect it.

Atleast your postman brings you the mail! Mine always loses most of mine. My friend sent me an drawing of Davey Havok for my birthday last year and she sent it and i waited for WEEKS for it (she even sent it first class) but it never arrived :(
Then another time my mum decided to send me something, but that never arrived either *shakes head* i bet a hobos reading my mail :(

Royal Mail didn't deliver my last birthday card from my parents because it was underpaid by 5p, they wanted to charge me a quid for the privilege of walking 2 miles to the depot to pick it up, and this was about a week after it had been posted. I've hated them with a passion ever since.

Not the postman's fault, but i hate it when you get 'the note' saying to go to depot and collect something and it's because some stupid company has forgotten to frank it before sending it so you have to pay the postage. Bloody cheak!!

Leaving a parcel in the garden is silly though *hugs Mari* You should've told him off!

ha ha, where i live for uni they never actully bother delivering the parcels to the place, then you get a note saying go to "blah blah depot" to get it, and its bloody miles away, and get lost trying to find it.

I did have the problem once of the postman stealing/not being arsed to deliver it, which was more annoying as it was my ucas mail, and when i finally did get my mail, i wasnt allowed to keep it, i had to give it back to the royal mail for evidance.

That happens to me way too often, the not ringing in just leaving the notes bit. And it's with stuff that's actually pretty damn heavy. One day they didn't ring when they were bringing the new laptop in. ANother day it was a new monitor. I mean, why would you even do that to yourself? It's very annoying.
