I haven't had a period this month And i'm worried
I have a Contraceptive stick in my arm, and i know there is a 99.99999999% of it working, but the doc did say no one ever had become pregnant on it, so i'm guessing its not that
But i dunno what it could be and I'm well worried
it can't be depression as i have been worse than I am atm and they've never stopped, and i've never been this late
I've been getting alot of stamach pains though and feelign sick however, and i've been put off food and stuff,
I keep thinking things like ovar cancer or something like that, which I have always been paranoid about because I am Determinded to have children when i'm older....
Any advise or suggestions???
I'm not to keen on going to my GP. i'd prefer nott o do that as i don't have the time
Help please!

I deleted my post without putting a reason in so sorry for that, I forgot! (but the reason I deleted it was because I read your post *way* wrong)
Anyways, it's very possible that the two are not related especially since the chances of you being pregnant are so slim. Stressing about it though can actually make it come even later. If you're worried about cancer then, as i'm sure you know lol, you'd have to go to your GP.
Assuming the the stomach pains are not related to your period then is it possible that you don't just have a stomach bug or something? I know you said you don't want to but your best bet is to go ahead and go to your GP. They're the only ones who can tell you positively what it is and get you feeling better!
It could be a number of factors all adding up against you and it's just late, but you are best making an appointment with your GP and making time to get to the bottom of it all rather than have this hanging over your head.

what type of pill is it? I was on the mini pill and I had no periods for 3 months ( I had to stop it due to side effects). Could be the pill making you not have period.
Could be stress. Even if it hasn't stopped before with it ya body may do so now.
But I think check out with Dr for best answer and reassurence.

i'm tired of chasing my dreams. i'm just gonna ask where they're going, and hook up with them later.
I have known people get pregnant with the contraceptive implant(Implanon) but it's not common, the others are right; everything from what you're eating, to stress levels, to age and general health can affect your periods. So you're best to see your GP.
Implanon also makes a lot of women have no/very few periods.
Although there is a chance you could get pregnant, or it could be stress, or illness. Maybe buy a test just to rule out pregnancy if you are worried
how long have you been on implanon? that could be a factor aswell
Nobody knows, nobody cares that I die on the inside
Nobody sees the lie that is me, as I smile on the outside
I've been on the implanon for nearly a year and since I had it put in, I haven't had a period. But I still get period pains at time of month.
If you wanna chat more about it, feel free to pm me

How long have you had the implant? To be honest I reckon its just the implant stopping your period. And if it is that you should think yourself lucky coz I've got the implant and I am experiencing, ahem, "irregular bleeding". All the freakin time!!!! It is gross.
See the implant did that to me to start, i was on for like 4 months strait, then i was compleatly fine, then they stopped :S
Done yet annother test so deff not pregnant,
got docs app wednesday to get all checked out
so hopefully that will all go well.
I'm just freakin out, cause if its not pregnancy, an not the implant... then somethings gotta be wrong :S:S:S eek!

I have the Implanon and I was told the majority of people who have it get their periods stop/decrease and some people have more frequent periods.
I would consult your gp or family planning nurse as this is concerning you, however I am sure the change in your periods was due to the implanon. At first (first 3 months) my periods became a constant light bleed, then after that they stopped completely and I have only had very occasional spotting since the summer of last year.
I am certain its the Implanon, but if you have had unprotected sex and are at all concerned, you should see your gp for STI tests anyway.
Take care xx

im on implanon and i've not had a period since 31st of october 2007. it can make your periods stop completly as well as making you bleed continuously or keeping you regular.
didn't bother to read the replies,
but a friend of mine had to take out the implant as it was causing her horrid pains and metabolism problems.
You should ask your gynecologist about all this.
the first 6 months i had implanon, no period. then on for 10 days, then off for another 6 months. im now on my second implant.
honestly, amenorrhoea (lack of periods) when it comes to the implant is pretty much normal, but some people go the other way entirely, which is also normal. but if its really worrying you, talk to your doctor about it.
incidentally, you get a really nifty bruise from getting it replaced or removed... i got mine replaced a week ago. so theres a bit of implant trivia for you guys.
Take care
Annie
