I agree with Irenek, if you are doing it purposfully, then it is self-injury

That's how I started. What looks like kind of blotchy sun damage on my arms is scars.

My husband is my best friend.

In forgiving others, we are not exonerating them. They may not deserve exoneration. Rather, in forgiving others we are giving up our anger over the fact that what happened is not what "should" have happened or that our life is not the way it "should" have been.

Thats what I thought.
I began digging my nails into my skin when I was eleven and about 4-6 months after that I began cutting. And I haven't cut since January 7th due to the parents finding out. I just quit all together.
But I have started digging my nails into my skin deeper and deeper each time.
Will it scar as bad as the cuts?

When I do it it scars a lot worse than when I've cut, but it doesn't look like si scars, so it's easyer to lie about where they came from.
Take care xx

My scars remind me that the past is real.
I tear my heart open just to feel.

No question is ever stupid.
If you are deliberately doing it then yes.
There are many people who have begun like this
some stick to this method some progress into other methods.

But if you are deliberatley cause any kindof harm on yourself then yeah it is.

*cuddles*

You're entirely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret. All the best people are.
