Milan Kundera?
Has anyone read anything by him?
I just started The Book of Laughter and Forgetting, I'm about 30 or 40 pages in, and so far, I'm not so sure about it. I mean, his style is interesting, but the story seems fragmented. His ideas are very deep, but I don't follow the story line.
Has anyone else read anything by him? or even this book?
I'm curious :]

Yeah, I've heard Unbearable Lightness is THE book to read by him, but reading the descriptions, the book of laughter seemed more interesting to me.
If you ever get around to reading it, you'll have to let me know

I personally think he's one of the world's best living writers and love all his books. TULB is the best, I urge you to get a copy!

Good stuff, make sure you post what you think of it on this thread won't you! It'll be well worth your time I promise but I know how hard it can be to fit everything in! Hugs xxxx
