Because I don't like much [I'm reallly fussy] and I saw a icky telly thingy called kill it cook it eat it.. It was evil.
Mother got annoyed at first due to my insane fussyness anyway.. but discovered that I <3 tofu and other thingys.. so yeh..

I've been vegetarian a few years now.

Unfortunately I ate meat until I was about 14 due to my mother not allowing me to make any of my own decisions & me having to do everything she said.

I'm almost 17 now & I haven't ate meat since I was 14. I've never missed it & the thought of eating it makes me feel sick.

me. but for health reasons my doctor suggested a start eating meat. so i eat chicken and cod now, rarely though, becase my mum forces me too.

it's difficult, i have to be super vigilant. like sweets ahve geletine in. and loads of chinese takeaway use pork fat and stuff. places like subway put me off a bit. becuase i went in once, and i know you can ask for a change and stuff, but a piece of meat fell onto the cheese and the guy just picked it up and threw the meat back, and didn't remove the peice of cheese :O! religiously i can't eat pork and shizzle anyway.

little story heh.

but yeah, im a bad vege *shakesfist*.

I'm kinda, semi-veggie.
I mean, I'm only veggie sometimes because of my anxiety [worry of meat not being cooked properly, etc]. But with the programmes on recently about how they're killed, etc, I've been pushed a bit more towards the idea. I just know that I wouldn't really be able to do it because I'd have a load of cravings occassionally. & I'd not eat the right supplements, etc. So yeahhh.

Ride it out.

I'm a vegetarian sort of, but I still eat fish and sea food (I find it hard to feel bad for a fish), although I'm thinking about giving that up too... I've never found it hard at all, cause it really wasn't so much a moral decision as just that I find the thought of eating part of an animal disgusting, so I really don't want to eat meat anyway.

I've been a vegetarian for about 8 years now. At first, my father tried to force me to eat meat, but about a year into it he just quit. Once I got used to accomadating my consumption to be animal free, it was simple. I can't even imagine eating meat anymore, its become second nature to just adjust, and I feel so much healthier not eating meat. I love my veggies :)

And to see the amount of things that are tested on animals sickens me. It's disgusting.

Although I have these views, I would never ever try and force someone to stop eating meat. It's their decision, just like it's mine to not eat meat.

Doctors piss me off...but they are learning a proper vegan diet is very very healthy indeed even more healthy than an animal based diet.
