We are in the process of updating various areas of RYL that are accessed off the top menu - the Self Harm advice section is pretty much complete now and filling up nicely, the whole communtiy menu has been done for ages. We are working on the other advice sections as we speak - well more specifically Aimee, craola is doing all the hard work collecting stuff so I can set the sections up. But one area that badly needs attention is the Distractions section.
We are planning for the distractions main section, which is currently totally empty and boring, to be a page full to the brim with random or daily cycling content that amuses and distracts, leading members to the other sections which are great for wasting time, like the pictures, videos, creative corner and links.
One of the things we want cycling is cartoons, far side, cyanide and happiness quality cartoons, which are available in large number on the net.
We will collect a large number of these so that the page is worth visiting time and time again and we will add facilities for members to add new content to keep things fresh.
But what we need from you guys right now is a large collection of the very best comic strip sites out there, comics that are stand alone on their own, so series bases ones won't work (we will have links for those soon)
So, Far side and some cynide and happiness (some are really unforgiving to anyone who relates to SI/suicide) are two examples - please give us lots more!

I've never even read web comics before.
But I like that questionable content, explosm, xkcd and dead ends. I'm going to take a look at the others now.
