As someone who is 15 and likely to have censorship of some form placed against them if RYL were to get any stricter...
I do not feel that RYL is in any way lenient...it is much stricter than other forums I go on.
People need to be able to talk about things like sex, particularly younger members.
I think any form of censorship would be detrimental to many younger member's own wellbeing.
I don't think anyone on RYL is so naive that they can't deal with jokes or serious topics of an adult nature.
And if they can't, that's what *adult* labels are there for.
I AM sexually active and in future I might need support regarding this.
For teens often it can be hard to find a place to talk about their concerns and issues regarding adult topics but we do still need to be able to do it.
Look at my PSHE class for example: one girl honestly thought oral sex was sex with your clothes on AND I know she's having sex with her boyfriend.
We need to be able to learn and develop without restrictions.

i'm 13, going on 14 and i'm perfectly fine discussing or reading these topics. I think members of RYL are very mature individuals when it comes to these topics and the rules of RYL are fine as they are. I don't mind if these topics come up, theyre just part of life.
I love RYL as it is and it has the *adult* labels on offer, so if you are uncomfortable, you can avoid these topics.
Eh, yeah, so i'm fine with it.
