my mum always tells me to go to greece.
unfortunately, instead of saving up for her first-born, my mum spent all her money on going to greece.
so i can't afford to go.
but you should listen to her. be the daughter i can't afford to be.

well, i have sown untidy furrows 'cross my soul,
but I am still a coward,
content to see my garden grow so sweet & full
of someone else's flowers.

I'll swap you my place in the UK for your place in Australia?! Yes? pleeeease?!

Where in the UK? Wales? Scotland? Ireland? or England?

for London - you could go to Camden market (very hippy/gothic/alternative with some oddly dressed people)
Hyde Park on a Sunday has 'speakers corner' where everyone gets on boxes & rants about random things.
Oxford street (u can walk from Hyde park) has lots of posh shops & touristy shops (actually I stayed in an Oxford st in Sydney)

PS: If you're coming from Aus I suggest a stop over for a couple of nights - I flew to Aus in November & stopped in Singapore - then on the way back in December stopped at San Francisco.

Not sure what else you want to know

Are you a student?

If you get an international student card (you have to apply for it I think) you can get discounts on things... when I was in Sydney I used my one from Epping college in England but there was also an Epping in Sydney so they thought I was an Australian student... he he.

If you're going to Paris, the Champs-Elysees are a must. Go both Evening & Day if you can have two trips, because it will be well worth it. Don't be discouraged (& move on) with the queues for the Tower, or you'll be forever regretting so (Like me! )

In Paris (More so, than London) goto a cafe (not restaurant) on the sidewalks for lunch or breakfast.

Boat trips for every major city, are again mandatory.

If you enjoyed the Arc then Marble is just as good. Trafalgar & Piccadilly are also must see.

Don't do a 'Fergie' and ask to see London Bridge, but actually Tower Bridge!

Harrods of course, since people have mentioned Covent & Oxford, I'll mention Bond & Regent streets!

St Pauls is nice, Lloyd's building for the unusual.

BUT ABOVE ALL ELSE, MAKE SURE YOU NEVER FORGET THE CAMERA AND USE IT!
