Change status

Does anyone know how to stop my mood status from defaulting to 'calm'? I'm anything but calm but when I post threads it says I'm 'calm'. I keep changing it to crying but it defaults back

If you click the icon hun then a list will drop down, just select from that how you feel.

Hmm, do you change it only to find it magically changes back? I've not heard that one happening before!

What computer / browser are you running, and do you have more than one RYL window open when you try to change status?

Don't worry I am sure it is easily sorted :)

I only have RYL and my email account open at the same time. I could change it last time I was on here. It just magically defaults back to calm no matter what I change the mood to on the drop down menu....strange!!

I've just changed it again during this message to see if it sticks today.......

The only status I can have is calm......I just use a normal pc and BT internet......

Try deleting your temporary internet cache and cookies (do a google search if you are not sure)

I have also updated your status manually - any more luck changing it yourself now?

I had that same problem back in June!!! I never managed to sort mine out and gave up on it, although it annoys me at times because I'm never angelic...

Well Sky I will do my very best to get it sorted here, so watch this thread and you can get yours sorted at the same time :)

I do think deleting internet chache etc will help, so give that a go

Sorry, I hope my post didn't come across as being rude or owt, it wasn't my intention. I reguarly delete my temporary internet cache and cookies but that doesn't make any difference. When I posted back in June someone advised me to download the lastet internet explorer version but that didn't help either...

Sorry to be a pain, I don't mind if I can't change it myself, but it would be grand if you could work your magic and were able to change it to 'meh' for me
