I don't think it's stupid to cry - not at all! Crying is a really healthy way to release the emotions you may be feeling, or lack thereof. Many people who self harm find it difficult to cry & release emotions in such a healthy and cathartic way, personally I wish I could cry!
It might seem really strange to you when you're tearful and upset, and crying at things that might not have upset you ordinarily, but I wouldn't worry too much. I have been through phases of this myself, just when things seem overwhelming, and it passes.
As Em has said, ride it out and let yourself cry. You might just find it helpful to get it out there and release it from you. Constant crying/tearfulness is also a very common symptom of depression - so I highly doubt you're alone.
Just take care of yourself while you're feeling this way, treat yourself nicely and be gentle with yourself, keep yourself safe.
