A very happy accident!

I don't drink anymore because of FND sometimes making me act drunk when I am sober. But I went through a short phase of drinking Guinness around d17 -18 before moving back to cider which was always my main drink of choice.

Don't think I've ever tried sherry. I know its more of an old person after Xmas dinner drink!
What does it taste like?

I do like a cider.
Do you like fruit cider or just kind of general apple cider?
My favourite for ages was mango and raspberry rekorderlig, but we stopped doing it for some reason :(

I'm fine! Totally fine. I don't know why it's coming out all loud and squeaky, 'cause really, I'm fine!

Who else is fine?!?!?

Mainly apple cider but I do like pear cider. I find the fruit ones a bit too sweet, that and down her ein the south west you get ribbed for drinking 'squash' instead of proper cider XD

Sad times when a favourite anything disappears.

Definitely couldn't drink more than one.
A lady the other day had diabetes so I offered to show her all the labels of the drinks she was thinking of. The amount of sugar in things I didnt even think of was insane!

It is :(

Thanks guys, I definitely did have a very productive couple of days which is nice. :)
Glad work was okay Beckie. Hooray for happy accidents! I don't drink any more but I do miss it. I liked a good cider. Strawberry and lime cider in a beer garden on a warm day - what a treat.

Ride it out.

To quote Keeping Up Appearances "it was like ferret pee". Disgusting imo and only people I know who like it are the elderly.

I am still awake.

I have however put a load of washing on, tidied the kitchen counter, steam mopped the hallway floor, done my invoices and sent them off, and put 4 more things on Vinted.

I haven't sold anything on there yet though. There's 16 things on so far so hopefully I get something sold soon.

I need to be up at 9:15 and it's already half 5. I'm not sure whether to just try powering through and staying up, at this stage.

Better than nothing I suppose! Still not great. Hope you manage to get through the day ok.
Got anything planned?

Looking pretty decent.
Going for a drive this morning, getting some new windscreen wipers. Driving to MK later to pick something up (I am absolutely NOT driving in MK though XD) and work at 5. Then L is picking me up from work at 8 and I'm staying at hers.

That sounds like a good day!

I'm going door shopping (the excitement is real!) this morning, the place is only open til 12pm on Saturdays and not at all on Sundays. I've managed to persuade my Dad to drive me there though as it's an awful bit of road and if you go even slightly wrong, you're on the motorway. I've only driven that road once in 11 years of driving.

So I need to be at my parents for 10am. Annoyingly now I'm stuck in waiting mode though as I don't need to leave for an hour, which is not enough time to try sleep more.

Then a class at 1, and then hopefully get some sleep!!

It should be! :)

Ooh door shopping! Bit weird that it's only open until 12 on a Saturday! That's the only day lots of people are free!
Yeah definitely sounds less stressful to get your dad to drive.

Ugh. Waiting mode is awful. Hope it passes quickly!

Morning Ahimsa and Cacoethes. Sorry you didn't sleep Ahimsa. I hope you both enjoy your days. I'm thinking of stealing a handbag off L so I'm giving it a test run on my walk to Mass today.

Morning all. My new bra came this morning as it came from the USA so wasn't sure if it was coming or not as tracking stopped working once it was in the UK. But no ransom fee which is good . Also a bracelet arrived today and it fits. I bought it as it was going cheap over Easter and totally didn't expect it to fit so the fact it does is a bonus .

Afternoon everyone.

Sorry you didn't get much sleep, Beth. I hope you can get some sleep later. Door shopping sounds interesting!

Hope you have a good day, Beckie. Working again?

Hope Mass is good Tamo and you successfully steal the bag and like it!

You had to get a bra all the way from America, Dawn?!

Doors have been purchased!! I had priced them up online and they were £2500 for the 9 I need, and then delivery on top - which is INSANE money and absolutely not affordable.

I found a cheap door place with virtually identical ones, I've got all 9 and delivery for £800! Which yes is expensive but when its been on the list for 4 years and doors are expensive anyway! And my current ones are falling apart, are yellow stained, are old fashioned hollow ones so dont keep any heat in, and have big chunks out of the bottom where they dont meet the carpet - its an investment!

How is everyone else doing?

Great deal there, Beth! Do the company fit the doors?

I've been to the chemist and post office, done a washing, cleaned my kitchen and bathroom, and hoovered. The wind is picking up a lot now. Think my neighbour's hat just blew off his head and into my garden!

It's a bra with a design on Lindsay hence why it came from the USA. Also it's a pull on bra (I have difficulty with regular bras) and I only know one company in the UK that does my size in pull on bras. They don't have fancy bras. Mine is a Gryffindor bra.
