I saw a member of staff get badly attacked by a patient. I don't want to make this about me but I feel bad, like I should have defended the member of staff, they were just metres away.
I think when something like this happens, it's better to leave it to the people that know what they should do. I do understand the feeling Tamo, but chances are that if you had interrupted it might have escalated things even further. Also, if you don't know how to physically de-escalate a situation, i think things could get dangerous pretty fast so your approach was the most sensible no matter what.
that sounds really scary. agree with zurg that you did the right and safest thing by staying out of it. it is your thread and space so you are more than allowed to talk about it if you want.
also sounds really good that you can see a neurologist so soon.
Please do not give me virtual hugs unless you are only using the hug function on threads. Thanks.
You can't always keep it separate.
This is happening, this is part of you.
It's okay, Tamo. If someone needed you to tell what had happened, they would have asked you soon after. People forget details and stuff pretty fast when they witness something that isn't nice so police and such are pretty fast to get statements if they require them. I'm certain that the word of the staff in question has been deemed as reliable so i don't think you need to try to hold on to the details.
I'm sorry you went through that, Tamo. I too have experienced things like that and it can be very distressing. As has been said I'm glad you didn't intervene though as you could have got hurt. I hope you are ok. We are here if you need to talk things through.

I thought I was over cutting out the implant. But when Mum suggested the psych might take me off my section today, my first thought was that I could buy blades and do it. But that scared me which I suppose is a good thing?
Thoughts about things you have had for a long time are hard to change and take some time and effort. What are the fears you have about the thought you had?
