Weeing, Pooing kittens!

My CPN's just bought 3 kittens. I forget exactly how old they are but she's had them about 2 months & they must've been at least 6 weeks old before leaving their mum - so they're about 3-4 months.

They keep peeing/pooing indoors, even though they're allowed out now. She said one weed on her bed last night when she was in it

She's had cats before so I pressume she's done all the normal toileting stuff.
Any ideas on anything she's doing wrong?
Or anything she can try next?

Leave litter trays everywhere.
Cats are lazy, why walk downstairs to the kitchen to wee when you can do it on this here snuggley bed?
That and maybe putting a cover on the beds lol.

Probably not that nice to have litter trays everywhere though!

Do you think they'll grow out of it or there'll be some training involved?

*is glad she has a dog*

Ewww. I'd yell at them and plonk them on a litter tray.

Just, ewwww.

Saying that, our kittens crapped all over the place for a little while after we got them, lazy buggers. (Including on one of my best freaking t-shirts. It had a dragon on it. DRAGON!)

Mine did that when we used science plan litter (the best, most expensive one) but when we switched back to cheap old white label and fuller's earth stuff they were fine, try changing the type of litter. Also make sure anywhere they have peed is thoroughly washed and scented so that they can't smell that they've peed there before, as that will make them think that is their toileting area.

If you don't get kitties "fixed" then they like to mark their territory by spraying pee on EVERYTHING. Also, if they feel their litter box is too full then they'll go wherever they feel necessary. So yeah, fix them and change the kitty litter. Problem solved!

My kitten was doing the same thing awhile ago. sooo disgusting. But they're so cute, you can't stay mad at them.

They're girls if that makes any difference to the 'fixing' thing...

get a litter tray and keep putting them onto it
if the person that first raised up didnt train them on the litter tray then itll be a bit tricky to get them to use it now. But im sure (As i found out when i had my two kittens when they were about 6 weeks old) after a while they'll pick up on it. So yeah, the should keep plonking them on it, and it may sound mean, but put their nose close to it too so they can smell it, if they seem to be wondering around looking for the toilet, pick them up and put them on it.
Cats can be pretty stubborn (and lazy) when they like lol
hope it goes okay.. sorry if this was no help X

read advice in books or online

if its a persistant problem then go speak to the vet, they could have a problem that needs treating.
