Almost a year
I would just like to tell you all that.. stopping is hard. You have to want to do it in order to succeed. After 5 years of being a SI, I quit. It has been almost a year now and I am happier than ever. I just.. i want the scars to go away. I don't want a constant memory of who I was.

You said that you didn't want that constand rememinder of who you were, but without who you were, you wouldn't know that feeling of happiness you are having now love? It is in the past and whilst it isn't the part of you who dictates your world at the moment, it makes you the inspiration that you are now, to many people who will read this.
