Triggering (SI) - Worried
Recently my self harm has become a lot worse and i am now going deeper and have to cut myself at least once a day. My state of mind has got a lot worse and self harm is all i can think about and all that goes through my head is when i can do it, what i can use and how i will do it and then cover it up.
What worries me though is i continuously think about how much better things would be if i took it too far and last week i even thought about stepping out in front of a train and just stupid things like at the top of stairs i will freeze and want to throw myself down them etc. Its scaring me so much.
HAs anyone else experienced this?

Hey,
Just for one day, try not to cut yourself. I was like this at one point a few months ago and it completely broke me down.
However, once you break the cycle it gets a lot less like...obsessive and controlling. Go out with friends for the day, or have a day in watching films and just generally pampering yourself and trying to have a good day. Avoid situations which could result in you getting all stressed and triggered.

I have the same problem. It used to be so bad, even the safest of things I could somehow see a way to kill myself from. PM me if you need to talk. :]

i know the feeling so well !!
 hi, i fel like that on sun i ended up self harming but this time rather than cut or slice i bit my hand continuosly until my teeth went through my skin, because i have never bit before it made me feel so low i just wanted to end my life because everyday is such a struggle of ups and downs, but today i feel a bit better. You need to take each day as it comes and plan things you can do to make you feel better, like for me today i'm going to have lunch with my nan and that makes me feel warm inside rather than lonely today.

hey
i went thro a time of feeling really low and not coming out of it. ll i ever thought about was self harm, planning what to do next etc.
as said above, i think you should go send some time with youre friends. its not necessarily gonna take harm off youre mind completly, but at least you wont be alone and you will have more distractions.

I'm sorry you don't feel great at the moment. I feel like this sometimes. I tend to go through SI like this once every few months, but it calms down pretty quickly, after about a week i think. I also think about ways to hurt myself when i look at certain things, like stairs. It will get better. I really hope it does soon
