Advice welcome...please!

Hi guys,
Haven't been around the forums in quite a while now but I'm just after a bit of advice.
My girlfriend is severely mentally unwell at the moment, she has been in and out of mental health inpatient care multiple times in the last month but gets discharged every time and told that she is not acute enough to be taking up a bed. Her behaviour can be really aggressive and abusive at times right now, yelling and screaming at me and my family one minute, acting completely normal the next.
I've done all that I can to try and help or get her the help that she desperately needs but I've run out of options. I don't even feel safe around her right now.
I'm trying to be supportive but my sympathy well has run dry and I'm just getting frustrated. Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

I'm so sorry you have been having to deal with this and I know how frustrating it is when constantly going in and out of hospital.
I'm really sorry I don't have any great advice but I wanted to say I read. Your girlfriend is very lucky to have you and although hard, you need to let her know that you need to step back and look after yourself a bit too. My family and friends have had to do this with me (which I recognised before they did and took myself away).
Is she getting any help in the community?

I'd definitely suggest trying to get some people or even one person from her community team (if she has one) to have a meeting with you both. You don't need to be dealing with this on your own, there are people who can hopefully help. Make sure you are looking after yourself too. Take care.

She does have a community team, they're just a bit useless and don't seem to see the urgency off the situation.
To be fair neither does she, she doesn't comprehend that yelling and screaming in my face was unacceptable at all. I'm her words she's 'talked calming and had a conversation '

Does your girlfriend have any family members who know what is going on who would support you in trying to talk to her and/or her team?

Her family have really just put the burden on me. They don't want to deal with it and in her mothers words 'just want to get on with their own lives'.
It's so so sad. She is being kept in for a further 2 weeks which is good as they might actually be able to sort her health out this time.

She's in hospital just now? Have you attended any of her reviews? It's not fair that everything is being put on you though.
