Do people still go there? I was reading their finances are bad. This week they got in the news because some of their fanfic may have been used in gov. intelligence report. I was never a 4chan visitor but I know some people from here who got tangled up with them in bad ways. I think some of the old trolls that came here were from there.

4chan is going broke, may need drastic changes

You mean the trolls with the nasty pics and suicide diagrams were from RYL? Yikes. A lot of the pics were infamous 4chan pics - not that I knew it at the time. I suppose people from here went to 4chan then as well. People did used to mention it. I know one girl who used to come here went there and posted a pic of herself and its been all over the web for years now.

I think the "Anonymous" movement and political battles changed 4chan somewhat. Even the founder quit and went to Google.

Because of 4chan being in the news I was at the site for an hour or so. They sure do love that frog thing. It feels kinda crazy there. I could see where it could be alluring. One of the guys still working the site said its a bunch of of 18-35 yr olds posting in middle of the night while drunk. Now that reminded me of RYL lol

lots of people go on 4chan. look at r/imgoingtohellforthis and you'll see a large amount of posts are from 4chan.

Lol - but compared to some things on the chan even the scary frog is comfortable!
