However I am only able to attend if every single person 1. Has a Veggie Meal and 2. no short sleeves . How do I make number 1 happen? I am not even going to my folks for Christmas partly because of meat . I am trying to to get a Job but I live in Hunting /Fishing/Shooting territory and I cannot work in a place wear there is meat , I have thrown up on the sight of it, even in a ham sandwich. It is abhorant to me. I dunno what to do.

Hi there. I don't think it would be possible to do #1 because different people have their own choices and it wouldn't be fair to make everyone else not do something. For instance how would you feel if they said, 'no vegetarians allowed, you have to eat meat'?

It sounds like you feel very strongly about meat and I wondered what caused that. I know quite a few vegans for instance, who are. Very strict, but are fine with others eating meat.

Being realistic you are not going to make number 1 happen.

Whilst everyone is entitled to their own opinion and views on things, you have to accept that it is their choice whether or not they eat meat.

You could choose to sit at the end of the table if that makes things a bit easier for you.

What is it about the meat itself other than it being 'evil' as you put it? I wonder is it the smell perhaps?

You never know there may be some people who also don't eat meat not all people do! I'm a pescatarian

To be honest, I don't think either is a fair request.

People are entitled to their own beliefs.

And people are entitled to wear what they want.

I think you need to work through your triggers rather than expecting people to change to accommodate you.
