NHS England question.
Hi,
It's been a very long time since I've been on here.
I have lived in England for the past 3 years and for the most part I have been, 'well.' Foolishly I haven't registered at a GP practise.
However, I have found myself coupled with a few personal issues sort of struck down by pretty severe anxiety/depression.
My dilemma is I start a new in just over a week. My current employer is not being one bit supportive of my 'new' health issue. Which to be honest who would actually want to feel this way it is not welcome and I did not miss this. But I've been told in a roundabout way I need to go see a GP on Monday or I probably won't get sick pay (benefit I get with current employer but only 2 weeks per year) I have so much to pay for including a mortgage, car and a loan so dropping any pay would cripple me.
Does anyone know of a way that I could see a GP on Monday? I know where my nearest one is and their opening times etc. It's adding on more stress. Not really coping talking to anyone out with my family not too sure what's going on I'm not coping well but I don't want to ignore this and for it to possibly leave me unemployed.
If anyone understands my ramble and an offer any help itd much appreciated
X
