Need an excuse or a cover up *poss trig*
I messed up and cut after a year and a half....
I cut on sat..mostly my leg..but there is one cut on my forearm
It is quite big...dosn't look like a scratch..blatantly looks like a cut..
I have work thurs and fri, my dad drinks there, people will see. They will know what i have done.
I need a decent excuse as to why there is this big straight cut on my arm...
none of this it was the cat stuff...
i need a proper excuse..
otherwise they will know
or even better some way to hide it...but it is the top of my forearm..so i dunno how to hide it. It get so hot at work it makes you feel ill in a strappy top...i don't think i will last a shift wearing a jumper

Can you wrap up that part of your arm in an Ace bandage/tubi grip or something like that and say that you pulled a muscle? That's my usual excuse at my university and it works pretty well.

I was just coming to post about this too.
Thursday I have an appointment with the rheumatologist and he always wants to look at my ankles, without my socks on.
I've only started SI again, after ten years of recovery, and chose that area to do it. The area is probably 3x5 so it's too big for a bandaid. He hasn't seen any of the other scars and I am dreading going there. I've thought about canceling but I have to go or not get my meds.
What do I say? Do I laugh about it and act like it's nothing? Tell him it's none of his business? I do not want another lecture. In fact, I don't want to talk about it with anyone anymore.
thanks

^ Maybe you could wrap a little gauze around your ankle- the kind you get on a roll, you know? Just a couple layers, so that he can still see your ankle fairly well. And if he asks, then idk maybe say you got bitten by a dog or something.
Or if you don't cover it up, then I guess you should just say something like "I'd rather not talk about it".
