I don't know what other people think but going off my conversations with Katie I think she would like to think she was being remembered so I have sorted out a candle being lit and flowers at my church (I don't think faith is a barrier feel free to disagree) for her amongst others that have passed. I am not by Any means taking control over how RYL remembers her, just remember how after Ali etc passed away we did something. So if people want to send any messages, flowers whatever (if it's okay with mods) I'll try and organise it so all of it is there and people even who don't know her in person remember the fact that she was important and awesome enough to affect so many people....dont know what peoples thoughts will be I fully admit I wasn't by any means her closest friends but we were friends and...well just a thought. Feel free to ignore/tell me I'm a dick.

Katie, I miss you so much. We spoke nearly daily for a few years and I can't believe you've gone. I know just how brave you were and I hope you are at complete peace now. I miss you so much and just can't stop thinking about you.

I am sad and shocked to hear this. I didn't know Katie very well, but I'd seen her around the boards and we talked a few times. I know she was struggling but as others have said, these news were rather unexpected...

Feel free to PM, would appreciate particularly as I know I wasn't her closest friend just a friend, and don't want to do anything wrong/tread on toes. Was just thinking of some flowers that sort of symbolise positivity in some way and lighting a candle nothing fancy. Her name (just first obv and there are a lot of us Katie/y's in the world so it wouldn't identify directly with this site) would be mentioned briefly in service and given a moment's thought/prayer/ remembrance along with other people who've been lost.

Flowers and message are going down tomorrow as next Sunday would be impractical being Easter and such however messages can be added to it at any time, a family friend has the keys to the church so can let me in whatever day to put the rest of people's messages down x

For those who are interested here is the message and flowers which are now in the prayer corner of my church, and if anyone wants to PM me any messages to accompany it I will do my best to add those messages during the week.
I hope it's okay :s the friend of my family wrote out the card for me with roughly what I wanted to say on it so apologies it says Tuesday as don't think that's accurate but tbf I don't think it really matters, just so long as the thought's there. I also said thoughts for family and friends but again, the thought is there.
The flowers are daffodils and tulips.
