I have yet to do any christmas shopping, going to start when I get paid on Monday. I never get to do christmas decorations anymore, because I don't get home until much closer to christmas BUT I think I've convinced the people I work for to wait until I'm working for me to help them put the decorations up tomorrow so I am excited!

That is exciting Hannah! :) When I was little we never got to put the Christmas decorations up until Christmas eve, that was terribly sad.

I shall post cake pictures when it's out of the oven! Then closer to Christmas I shall have to attempt to ice it which is nerve wracking since I've never ever iced a cake using actual icing!

I'm sorry for lack of salt dough pics. They looked so pretty when we made them, but they just didn't dry. My mum tried putting them in the oven to dry today but they baked instead :/

Put tree up but snapped it in the process. It's artificial... Looks pretty, but we can't put the star on top because it's too heavy for the broken tree it wasn't too difficult a process, because last January we must have been fed up so just folded the tree up and put it back with all its decorations still on.

That's so sad about the salt dough and the broken tree :'( But still, yay for Christmas tree!

My cake looks okay but I don't know for sure! I'm worried about it, I shall continue to worry until we eat it!

Woohoo I wondered where this thread had gone! Alas, it went nowhere and I was being blind. :P

I can't believe Christmas is nearly just a week away now. It's crazy! I have all my presents bar some of my boyfriends gifts which due to being pre ordered items they won't arrive until after Christmas. I also need to pick up one present Wednesday, withdraw money for a card, and buy my boyfriends dad a gift... He's a tough one to buy for!

How are people feeling about Christmas? :)

i cant wait until christmas, im so excited. my family doesnt have the tree upor anything yet, though, but its because we have cats. so yeah we dont have any decorations and we dont even have any presents yet so i dont know if i should be worried. but i love christmas so much and just ugly sweaters and warm drinks and everything christmas is my fav holiday other than halloween.
