Stroud is in Gloucestershire, south west. If you look at the UK the bit just below Wales where the water comes furthest in land it's on the end of that river bit. Should be a farmer's accent but mom was Canadian and I sounded posh until I spent 5 years working in a chippy... So no clue what I am now.
I think my voice sounds different but I guess we are used to reverberation in our own voices.

Mine is meant to be Aberdonian...But mine is more of a mix of Scottish/English. If you live in my area most people are pretty Doric (especially my dad) and I'm not like that at all lol.
