I think some birth control pills do have the side effect of making you feel more depressed so I think it is worth talking to your doctor about. Even if it isn't the pill I would still talk to your doctor as it sounds like things are really hard right now and you could do with some extra support. It is so hard to see anything positive when we are struggling but even if we just try and focus on one little thing a day it's a start. It doesn't have to be anything big, it can be that you went to work or you made a nice meal or you smiled at someone. Even just doing one little self-care thing a day can help too, whether that is painting your nails or going for a walk or reading a favourite book. Hold on there hun, you will get through this
