Right back atcha.

Hoping the festive season has treated everyone kindly. I've spent it alone this year, but I didn't really mind, I had my books.

The CMHT came round on Christmas Day, and whilst it was initially horrible and rubbish etc, we went for a walk on the beach, which calmed me down immensely and helped to dampen down the urges.

Silver linings, eh?

I'm putting some tea on, which will be here waiting if anyone pops in for some comfort.

I'm feeling unreservedly negative today. Trying to distract and keep my mind from wallowing, but alas, to no avail. Maybe I should try reading again...

I've got what I call 'space-hopper brain' today. Can't focus on any one thing for more than about twenty minutes. Thoughts have entered the vicious cycle stage.

I've got one to one tomorrow, been agitated all day. Managed to calm my brain down a bit though and have spent the last few hours writing. Haven't been able to write for ages, like all my creativity was drowning in the mire of my mind. Feel a bit flat now though.

Thanks Mark :) Hugs all round, what busy bees we all are today.

inBPDhell - The main thing is that you made it in, that's a huge achievement considering how bad you felt about it yesterday, so well done! Is it possible to take a break and try some distraction techniques?

It's so cold today, my nose will be needing a hat soon at this rate...

*shivers and builds a fire in the grate, bringing over supplies for hot chocolate and marshmallows, just in case*
