Got a job but too nervous

Guys! Tesco hired me for the job for Customer assistant checkout and they have called me for induction this monday. The only problem is I am too nervous just thinking about it. I know, I should be happy but I am freaking out if I will mess up my work and make bad impression.

Take a few deep breaths when you begin to worry and tell yourself that you'll be okay and you can do this. There's no reason you can't! Good luck

Just feel the stress but step back from everything on your mind - like stuff was happening to someone else or on TV etc. Its good to get the job but its just an ordinary thing. Its not like they are putting you in charge if national defense etc.

Sorr I only seen this how, how did it go? The way to think about it is that they would t have hired you unless they thought you were capable. And It's their responsibility to train you and stuff. So try not worry too much, I'm sure you'll be fine once you get used to it. It's always nerve wracking starting something new, even if you're like the biggest expert in the world at it! Hope it went well for you. First day is always the hardest.

Congratulations Volcano! Im surprised u heard back only cuz u said before they never got back to u and that time the job must of been taken. I'm glad u heard back and u got the job. Maybe it could of been they were busy at the time or something.

Atleast u know where u stand and u can start work with them as soon as. Have u informed the Job Centre about this? You need to let them know about the job and when u will be starting. You got a job and as it's a job u can see urself doing u should take it and see how it goes.

Thats normal to feel nerves but ur not on ur own as other people will be starting up as well. If u have any problems u can always confide in ur manager with any problems or concerns u have. Stay strong and focused if u can and give it ur best shot. You want them to see that ur doing a job and I know u can do it. You should stick with it and see it out.

I'm sure ur family and friends are here for u and everyone on RYL here is for support. Can understand how ur feeling.

How did it go? I recently got hired in the same position for another supermarket. I was terrified about the induction and starting, but as soon as I got there my nerves went as I was busy focusing on what I was doing.
