Hi all,
As many of you are aware, about 2 months ago I posted threads stating that the FA Team were recruiting and to get in touch with me. I had a large number of responses to sieve through which lead to me coming up with a team. The team includes some familiar names and some of you may have noticed them posting more in the FAF recently to help reduce my workload whilst I was busy. After numerous delays, I am now pleased to welcome the new members officially to the FA Team alongside their new roles.
Flem Fatale is stepping in as a Wound Care Advisor (WCA)
Sneckie (Jill) is stepping in as a First Aid Advisor (FAA) but as present is not dealing with OD queries and
Pi.R^2 (AKA Narcissa (Jenna)) is now taking on a new role of Wound Care and Eating Disorder Advisor (WECA for short because we couldn't think of anything else and wanted it to be similar to WCA!); she will be focussing on both the wound care side of things as well as being capable of dealing with the majority of ED questions.
Though all members are going to be able to reply to General Medical Questions posted on the
forum, they will only do this to a basic level and only if they feel comfortable. With
PMs, the members will remain solely within their speciality meaning Flem can only be contacted regarding wounds and Jenna can only be contacted regarding Wounds and ED based questions. One important thing is that though Jill is a very capable FAA, it has been decided that for the moment,
any questions regarding ODs should ONLY be PMd to me. No other members of the team will give advice related to them. If any PMs are sent to members and it is outside of their specialism then you will be reminded of this and your PM will be forwarded to either myself or another member of the team who can deal with that query; this does take time, hence why you're directed to PM the correct one. The reason PMs are restricted how they are is for the safety of the yourselves and nothing else as we need to ensure that people are given the correct advice.
So, guys, please give a warm welcome to Flem, Jill and Jenna!
KimA,
Head of the First Aid Team
