I like rock music. I really like queens of the stone age, foo fighters, Tool, Them crooked vultures, Nirvana, and so much more. I also like other music, that I'm too embarrassed to post here! Everyone does!

classical music, some films scores like Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR's, Sweeney Todd, West side Story and the odd bit of pop music, but basically I am a massive classical music fan and I play and have performed and also studied classical music.

I have all sorts of music on my ipod - pop (including cheesy), goth/death metal, classical, dance. I have been getting into Northern Soul lately, but I have yet to add any tracks to my ipod, with the exception of Tainted Love, but even then it's Soft Cell's version.

The only things I wouldnt add to my ipod is rap, country and jazz.

even though I don't listen to rap anymore I still have the urge to evangelize whenever I see anti-rap talk, since I hate 99% of the rap I've heard, but still loved a lot of songs.
I can agree with jazz: I've just never heard in jazz tempos and melodies and instruments and vocals I like, so, end of story, no point recommending an awesome jazz song. is that hip-hop for you? -- you just hate everything about it? I guess it's curious to me because hip-hop will use classical music, or will sound very pop or dance, or even use guitars like some metal, so it seems like there's probably some overlap with stuff you like, beneath all the garbage.

I never said that I hate hip hop or wouldnt put it in on my ipod, so Idk where you get that from. I have some hip hop on my ipod actually, it's not my favourite genre, but some songs are ok. Mainly 90s hip hop i have though because I was a teenager during the 1990s.

Oh dear, I didn't realise my posts had to be approved. Now I look like a numbskull because I've made a mess of the same post with different words.

I like a mixture of music, some pop, some classic rock, I don't like anything too heavy as I usually end up feeling like **** after listening (that's just me, some of my friends feel better after listening to heavy stuff). I mainly like relaxing stuff.

Artists I like: Lorde, Sheryl Crow, some ccr, Queen, Heart, the carpenters, the beach boys, too many to remember.
