The official release date of Netflix original series Orange is the New Black season 2 has not been announced yet, but the cast and crew have been busy filming the new series this year.

The filming of the popular prison drama was mid-way through completion in November, indicating that the show's second season will launch some time in early 2014.

^ what? i didn't even know there was a book. that's great. no i haven't. i stumbled upon gifsets of the show on tumblr and i loved it. i can't wait for it to come back. love the fact that the cast is almost solely female. yay

I watched the whole of season two in a day when it came out on Friday... Now to wait another year for season 3!
