Meal plan for recovery

Does anyone know how many servings of each food group you should be eating in a day whilst in recovery? I have googled it but come up with so many conflicting numbers that I am getting flustered x

I am currently:

Can't add much else than what the fabulous Carmen has said, but wanted to urge you to seek some professional support, your GP can refer you to a dietician or at least give you the best guidance on meals/food groups.
DR Google isn't the answer, trust me, he usually does more harm than good!

Find a nutritionist you trust and work well with! That makes all the difference.

1/3 fruit and vegetables
1/3 carbohydrates
the last third is split between dairy, protein, sugars and fats

Thats basically what the NHS has adapted.
