Is it possible to eat clean without relapsing?

I have been trying really hard to eat clean as I am so unhealthy atm, despite being at an acceptable bmi. In my recovery I ate plenty of high carb, high fat, crap basically and I obviously can't keep it up for the rest of my life. Now I am mostly weight restored I want to start eating clean but I don't know, it triggers me quite a bit. I can't just keep eating crap because it will probably kill me just as quick as an ED but I am struggling to find a happy medium x

Yes! You can totally eat clean! Whole grains, fruits, veggies, and unprocessed meats and cheeses if you're not a vegetarian. Try cooking with these ingredients, too. Kashi bars are pretty good, "clean" snacks compared to others! The brand Horizon also has cheeses and stuff as well as the all natural Applegate farms. There are tons of way to eat clean completely conducive to your recovery.
Also, I recommend no diet products like Special K and Lean Cuisines which have no nutrition whatsoever.
But remember, eat clean, healthy meals most of the time and this gives you the wiggle room to have desserts, eat out, and do all those other challenges that are great to do in moderation. Hope this helps.

I don't think eating clean means reducing your caloric intake at all. In fact, when I started taking my dietian's advice and started to eat more "clean" I actually had an INCREASE in calories.

That's what happens when you choose whole grains over white carbs, almond butter over 100 calorie packs, real butter over fake margarine, all natural products vs their fat-free versions and farm-raised meat and cheese rather than being a vegetarian/vegan.

It was a difficult switch for me but my weight is the same, I feel much more satisfied, more secure in my meal plan and just plain feel better.
