i have tried all three of these browsers and none of them allow me to view the chat room, why? what is wrong on my end that is so bad i am not allowed in? i dont understand this and i dont think anyone else will...
I think it must be a problem with your computer/internet connection.
As I suggested earlier, it's worth trying another computer to see if the problem is your account or not.
Also - we've had a lot of chat threads recently. It's usually better to bump an existing thread than make a new one.
It doesn't matter where you come from; it matters where you go.
No-one gets remembered for the things they didn't do.
We won't all be here this time next year,
so while you can take a picture of us.
We're definitely going to hell,
but we'll have all the best stories to tell.
sometimes if you use a prepaid dongle for your internet chat sites are blocked. you can get it unlocked. that is the only issue i've ever had with chat
i use a desktop with windows 7... and my computer is a HP... i fail to see how that makes a difference. i have been to many websites here and used their chat clients, this has been my first time not accessing one...
i am not being rude, you are taking my words that way... i am just explaining that i have been to other sites and used chat and i dont see how its on my end... if you dont want me here, please say so and ill never come back...
I know I mentioned before, but what happens when you test the 8080 port?
I'm at uni where it (and therefore chat) is blocked and it won't load. if something appears then it works.

This server listens on all TCP ports, allowing you to test any outbound TCP port.
You have reached this page on port 8080.
Your network allows you to use this port. (Assuming that your network is not doing advanced traffic filtering.)
that is what i see... not real sure what i am looking at
-Have you installed any other updates and/or security fixes for your computer? i.e. is all of your hardware/software up to date? windows always alerts me
-What version of Java are you running? i dont know, i have no idea how to look it up, all i know is i updated it...
-What version of what internet browser are you mainly using? i use chrome but have tried others...
-Do you have your own internet connection/modem or like Sophia said, are you at a Uni or someplace else where the internet could be filtered? i am at home...
-If you've got a modem, do you connect through wifi or ethernet cable? cable
-The other thing with your internet connection- is it solid? Does it cut out a lot, or is it very slow? no, i never have issues
Could be an ISP issue? I know that if you have changed ISP (certainly in the UK) recently that they automatically turn the filters on. Could the chat be seen as adult and therefore blocked?
I could be on the wrong track but that thought occurred to me. My parents are shortly going to changing ISPs and I dont want chat issues because of that.
