Contains bullying - Discrete Communication

Hi everyone,

This doesn't apply to me directly but a friend of mine is in a bad place with her boyfriend and we need a way to communicate with her without her boyfriend getting wind of anything. So far as we know he is 'only' screening her calls and text messages, nothing physical, but the communication must be either online or by phone as part of her support network is interstate.

Do you know of any phone apps or anything for this purpose? Short of using Snapchat to send self-deleting written messages, I can't think of anything.

If he's not looking at it enough to see a snapchat, couldn't you just call her from a blocked number and hang up if answers? Or couldn't she use a fake email address at a library computer or something?

You can block your number so it'll come up as private on her phone. Or as said above setting up a fake email.

If not could you arrange to meet up with her without him?
