How can people change to quickly?

I was dating this girl I thought I was in love with. Well she decided to start smoking pot even though I told her I'd never date a smoker. She got pissed at me for breaking up with her and started saying some really mean things. She tried calling me childish because I have issues with cutting (I'm trying to stop). She's lying and finding lots of ways to harass me. She got back together with her abusive ex the day after we broke up. I shouldn't be letting this get to me but I'm feeling really pissed off about it today.

Smoking pot doesn't suddenly make that person different and it shouldn't cause any problems as long as they are using it responsibly (as long as she's not doing it around you if you don't like smoke). In regards to the things she said after you ended it, some people are childish and spiteful. You probably had a lucky escape it ended now rather than wasting time on her. Anyone that takes the piss out of someone who self harms isn't a person worth sticking around for and you should see that eventually.
