Graphic - I am going to do it...

I am going to SH. I am looking on were I can SH with out causing any permanent damage. I am going to SH because it is the only real control over my life I have. I have a mild disability, so, I will always be treated like I can not do anything. I cut and I am smart enough to for advice on places on my body that I will not accidentally kill myself. I do not want to die but cutting helps control the thoughts and urges I have about suicide. Please give me some ideas on places on my body I can SH. So far I like to SH on my none dominant hand on the palm and fingers. Please do not tell me to stop because I no other people do not understand, I do not understand completely.

Hi there,

I'm afraid nobody here can give you advice on how to harm yourself. It sounds like you are looking for advice as to where you can self harm without causing permanent damage. I'm afraid self harm will always carry risks, and the only safe bet is to not self harm at all.

Take care.

I am really sorry you feel so desperate.
But as Talaiporia has said, no one here can give you advice or tips relating to that matter, one its against the rules of a recovery website and two its inhumane for anyone to tell you to hurt yourself.

Do you receive any support in the community?
Would you like to talk about whats going on for you?

SHing on your hands is certainly risky. You can easily get nerve damage doing it there, and you don't want to damage the use of your hands.

Please do take care of yourself. Perhaps it may help to talk to us about why you are feeling the need to cut.

'Cause I'll always remember you the same.

It sounds like yu have done this before and you're trying to convince yourself to start it up again. Just like talaiporia said above, your going to have risks no matter where you sh. Is there something going on at the moment?

maybe you could tell the people who try to "help out" with your disability that you'd like to do more things for yourself... sometimes people don't even realize when they're treating you like you can't manage. good intentions can accidentally go to far, and if you point that out in a respectful way ("i know you're meaning to help, and i really appreciate that, but i'd like to try to do this myself/make this choice for myself... if i need you i'll call, ok?") they'll often step back..

this is my magical medicine cabinet. Left to right they contain: courage, hope, calmness, and strength.

The magical part: They NEVER run out, so borrow some any time you want.

PM me anytime, I love getting messages :)
